Rationale

This is a sample policy document created directly on the website. The document can also be created in Microsoft word and can then be copied and pasted into the Wording box of this form.

Principles

There are a number of advantages in creating the document within the website directly rather than attaching a PDF.

  1. The look and feel of the website is maintained
  2. There is no external requirement for a third party document viewer like Adobe Acrobat Reader
  3. Updating the policy becomes simpler and there is full version control included allowing you to retrieve previous versions of the policy if required
  4. The policies are fully searchable on the website.
